VoiceX uses cloud servers rather than on-device processing to deliver fast and highly accurate voice dictation. When audio is processed in the cloud, the data is handled only for the purpose of generating a transcription.
Private Mode is enabled by default which ensures:
Your recordings are never stored on our servers.
Audio sent to the cloud is used exclusively for real-time processing and is automatically deleted once the transcription is complete.
All recordings and transcriptions are stored only on your device, where you can review, manage, or delete them at any time.
VoiceX does not retain copies, logs or backups of your audio on its cloud infrastructure.
These measures ensure that your data remains fully under your control at all times.
3. What We Collect and Why
To provide and maintain your VoiceX account, we collect only the minimum information necessary:
Name and Email: Used to create your account, manage access, and communicate essential service updates.
Personal Dictionary Words: You Stored so the app can recognize your custom vocabulary and improve transcription accuracy for your use case.
We do not collect, store, or have access to any dictated text, audio recordings, or screen content. All dictation data stays on your device and is fully controlled by you.

Always and if a user wants to delete they can.
You can delete your data from your account settings.

You may notice you can view your transcript history and recordings for dictation in the app. This is only stored locally on your device for you to view.
6. How "Context Awareness" Works (Optional Opt-In)
If you turn on Context Awareness, VoiceX can read, not collect, relevant text data from the active window to improve dictation accuracy.
While This helps the app better understand what you’re trying to say.
Recognize niche terms and names to spell them right.
You can turn this feature on or off anytime in your settings.
When it’s off, no app content is used for transcription. This data is never stored.

Secure in transit: Your data is protected with encryption (TLS) when it moves between your device and our servers.
